PETALING JAYA: About 30kg of explosives were used and seven blasts carried out to clear the boulders at Wednesday’s rockfall site at the 21st kilometre of the New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE).
Projek Lebuhraya Utara-Selatan Bhd (PLUS) Expressways Bhd executive vice-chairman Datuk Abdul Wahid Omar said any further blasts would depend on the need for them although it was easier to remove the rocks using machinery instead of explosives.
