JOHOR BARU: The number of children and teenagers experiencing depression and other mental illnesses has been on the rise in Johor since 2000 with up to 24 cases referred to Hospital Permai monthly.
State Health Committee chairman Datuk Halimah Mohd Sadique said this was cause for concern as it reflected how stressful life could be for children these days.
