SEPANG: Passengers of Malaysia Airlines (MAS) were greeted with a pleasant surprise when the national carrier held a Hari Raya open house at the KL International Airport (KLIA) on Tuesday.
Passengers of inbound and outbound domestic flights were treated to an array of delicacies prepared by the airline’s catering subsidiary and laid out under the “hawker stall” concept.
MAS assistant general manager (airport services) Yusop Jaridi was seen presenting duit Raya to young passengers.
He also visited the carrier’s operations department at KLIA to distribute Raya cakes to staff while expressing the management’s appreciation for their positive response to the company’s call of duty during the festive season.
The open house is part of MAS ShowTime project, which was organised since 1999, with the aim of bringing the joyful experience of flying to customers and staff of the airline.
