KOTA KINABALU: The Malaysian authorities will not enter into ransom negotiations to secure the release of five resort workers still held by abductors on one of the Tawi Tawi islands in southern Philippines.
Sabah police and the military here said they were not going to negotiate ransom with the abductors although the sum demanded had been reduced from the initial US$50mil (RM190mil) to US$5mil (RM19mil).
