IPOH: The Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry has taken stern action against a hypermarket and is investigating three supermarkets in the Klang Valley and Perlis for charging customers higher than displayed prices.
Its enforcement director-general Abdullah Nawawi Mohamed said this involved bar coded items which, when scanned, usually quoted a different price from the price tag.
