KUALA LUMPUR: The High Court discharged former Ampang Jaya Municipal Council enforcement chief Kapt (Rtd) Abdul Kudus Ahmad as a bankrupt yesterday after he settled his debts with three banks.
It's the best Hari Raya gift for me as I am no longer a bankrupt, Abdul Kudus said as he walked out of the courtroom. Senior Assistant Registrar Habibah Haron allowed Abdul Kudus' application to rescind and annul his bankruptcy order after he settled his debts with the banks.
