KLANG: Peering into a grilled room where her son lies asleep on top of some wooden planks, widow Asmah Ali prays for a miracle to happen – that this Hari Raya, her son will stir from his fogged mind and utter the sweet words, Selamat Hari Raya, Mak. Maaf zahir batin.

Money, a big house, new furniture and baju kurung made of gold threads have become immaterial to Asmah after son, Azmin Mohd Said, 38, was diagnosed with mental illness 17 years ago.
