PUTRAJAYA: Senior officials from Malaysia and Singapore will have their first round of meetings tomorrow to discuss several issues, including the appointment of an independent panel of experts to investigate the republic’s land reclamation work at Pulau Tekong and Tuas.
The meeting is being convened following the order of the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea after hearing a case filed by Malaysia against Singapore’s reclamation projects in the Johor Straits, covering 5,214ha of sea area. The three-day closed-door meeting will be held at Wisma Putra.
