PETALING JAYA: The Government has asked Kuala Lumpur deputy fire chief Mohd Ali Tambi Chik to retire effective Dec 1.
The 48-year-old senior assistant commissioner, who made headlines last year when he accused Fire and Rescue Department Director-General Datuk Jaafar Sidek Tambi at a press conference of abusing his position to organise his son’s wedding, was given the letter from the Public Service Department last week.
