KUALA LUMPUR: Opposition parties submitted a memorandum to Suhakam asking the commission to inspect the delay of a bail application requested by Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim in July on his conviction for sodomy and nine-year jail term.
As there was still no news of the outcome since the Court of Appeals reserved judgment on the matter, PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang, Parti Keadilan Nasional president Datin Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail and Parti Rakyat Malaysia head Dr Syed Husin Ali, deemed the urgency for an answer.
