DATUK Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi arrived at the Home Ministry in Putrajaya at 8am yesterday. With the ministry’s monthly Quality Day, attended by officials and staff, starting 40 minutes later, he had plenty of time on his hands.
He called four top officials from the ministry for a chat. Not to their surprise, he then spelt out what he intended to do in his fight against corruption and government red tape, a message he had sent out a few days earlier.
