KUALA LUMPUR: There is no state of emergency in Sri Lanka and the situation is peaceful with the country continuing to welcome Malaysian visitors, its High Commissioner Rosy Senanayake said.
Business was as usual as it had been in the past 20 months since the peace talks started with the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam, she said, adding that there was no cause for alarm as there was no breach of security.
