PETALING JAYA: Malaysia has criticised the United States for issuing a new travel warning to its nationals against visiting the east coast of Sabah, saying security nationwide is adequate and ruling out fears that it will affect foreign tourist arrivals.
Defence Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said the US State Department was wrong to issue the new travel advisory because the situation in Sabah was safe for foreign tourists.
