KUALA LUMPUR: Citibank Malaysia has warned its customers not to fall for an e-mail scam which threatened to shut down their bank accounts if they failed to give out personal and account information.
“We constantly advise our customers to be aware of e-mail scams and we are well aware of this spoof request since it was brought to our attention in August,” said Jaya Menon, assistant vice-president of corporate affairs at Citibank Bhd.
