THERE was a special intake of 573 teachers for Chinese schools in August, said Education Ministry parliamentary secretary Datuk Mahadzir Khir.
Another 5,955 were being trained for the purpose, he said, in explaining the Government’s move to overcome the shortage of teachers in Chinese primary schools.
