IPOH: The state government wants to control the ferry fare for the Lumut-Pangkor services to prevent operators from setting rates according to their whims and fancies.
Commenting on the recent fare increase by two ferry operators, the Pangkor-Lumut Express Ferry and Pan Silver Ferry, Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamad Tajol Rosli Ghazali said the state government was now studying its jurisdiction and whether it could set a standard fare.
