KEPALA BATAS: Alleviating the plight of padi and livestock farmers affected by the floods here and in Kedah last month became the priority of Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi in his first visit here as Prime Minister.
Abdullah, in his official duty as premier, distributed aid worth RM32mil to the affected Seberang Prai and Kedah farmers.
