MIRI: The Housing and Local Government Ministry has been informed that Sarawak would look into appeals by operators affected by a recent decision to close down snooker centres and parlours in the state within 12 months.

“It is good that the state is giving an avenue for appeal. Not all snooker centres are operating illegally or used for unhealthy purposes,” said deputy minister Datuk Peter Chin Fah Kui Chin.
