KEPALA BATAS: Local residents are abuzz with excitement as they gear up to receive their illustrious ‘kampung boy,’ Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, who will return home as the country’s fifth Prime Minister on Saturday.
They are preparing buntings and placards to greet Abdullah, who is scheduled to buka puasa (breaking of fast) with his 79-year-old mother, Datuk Kailan Hassan, at their family home in Jalan Perak.
