KOTA KINABALU: Chinese associations must apply for permits from the district office if they want to hold mahjong sessions in their premises, said Deputy Home Minister Datuk Chor Chee Heung.
He said getting such permits should not be a problem as mahjong was not considered an illegal form of gambling.
