MAJOR Chinese associations responded positively to the MCAs move to resume regular meetings with them, saying that they look forward to further widening and strengthening co-operation with the party through such dialogues.
According to a news report from Nanyang Siang Pau, among the associations that had expressed interest in having regular meetings with the MCA were the Federation of Chinese Associations (Hua Zong), the Federation of Chinese Guilds and Associations and the liaison committee of the seven major Chinese clansmen associations.
