THE Economic Planning Unit (EPU) is conducting a feasibility study on the possibility of building an incinerator in Penang to resolve problems relating to solid waste management on the island.
Housing and Local Government Minister Datuk Seri Ong Ka Ting said the ongoing feasibility study, which was proposed by the unit some time ago, would determine where the incinerator could be built and the suitable technology to be used.
