BAGAN SERAI: The Home Ministry has requested the Criminal Investigation Department and the Special Branch wing of the police force to come up with a report and to propose measures to counter gangsterism among young Indians, Deputy Minister Datuk Zainal Abidin Zin said.
He said although the number of young Indians involved in negative activities was not alarming, intervention measures were necessary as this had become apparent only in the past 10 years.
