Umno veteran Abdul Samad dies of stroke

KUALA LUMPUR: Umno vete-ran and former Youth and Sports Minister Tan Sri Abdul Samad Idris died of a stroke at the Kuala Lumpur Hospital on Wednesday. 

Abdul Samad, 80, was admitted to the hospital at 9.30pm and died half an hour later, a hospital spokesman said on Wednesday.
