PETALING JAYA: A proposed law to ban direct-selling companies from conducting door-to-door peddling of medicinal products is being formulated to protect consumers.
Health Ministry Pharmaceutical Division director Datuk Che Mohd Zin Che Awang said the proposed legislation, called New Pharmacy Act, would stop the direct selling of products like traditional medicine and health supplements for effective monitoring and consumer protection.
