THE prices of vegetables have gone up as a result of the recent floods in the northern states, Malaysia Nanban reported yesterday.
Quoting a vegetable wholesaler in Teluk Intan, the daily reported that the prices of sweet potato, water chestnut, cucumber, lady's fingers, long beans and leafy greens had gone up by between 50 sen and 80 sen a kilo.
