KUALA LUMPUR: The Defence Ministry has urged ex-servicemen to play a more active role in business instead of acting as mere “brokers” for contractors to gain government projects. 

Defence Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said business and contract opportunities were aplenty for ex-servicemen, who have an advantage of getting tenders from the ministry.
