KUALA LUMPUR: Wisma Putra officials have been directed to contact their Singapore counterpart to ensure the early establishment of a group of independent experts as prescribed by the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea (Itlos) to monitor the republic’s land reclamation works.
Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Syed Hamid Albar said Malaysia would also request for documents on Singapore’s reclamation projects in the Straits of Johor for a study to be conducted.
