SOCIAL problems plaguing Malaysian adolescents have peaked because in chasing material development, Malaysians seem to be ignoring social development, a reader wrote in Utusan Malaysia.
Kasmaini Mat Jusoh, writing in the paper’s opinion column, said if this “social cancer” was not treated quickly, “it is not impossible that a time will come where religious purity and etiquette which have been the pride for generations will disappear.”
