KUALA LUMPUR: The first batch of 28,000 candidates to undergo national service next year will be notified via post, short messaging service (SMS) and have their names published in the media in December.
A call centre will also be set up for the public to check the list of candidates, Cabinet Committee on National Service secretary Datuk Siti Azizah Abod told reporters after a three-hour meeting held at the Defence Ministry yesterday.
