THE Federation of Hakka Associations Malaysia has called on the Government to review the anti-dumping tax imposed on imported newsprint, saying that the measure would inevitably reduce newspaper readership and might eventually force smaller newspapers to close down.
Quoting the federation’s president Datuk Ng Teck Fong, Nanyang Siang Pau reported yesterday said that closing down a newspaper would mean a loss of hundreds of jobs.
