KUALA PERLIS: Survivors of a fishing vessel, which capsized about 70 nautical miles off Penang early this week, said they clung for 20 hours on empty water barrels, cooking pots and “everything else” to keep afloat before they were rescued.
Crewmen Prakob Roopthone, 54, and Somsak Songsai, 32, clung onto a huge aluminium pot during the long ordeal before fishermen from Pantai Remis, Perak, rescued them.
