KUALA LUMPUR: Proceeds from a talent contest here tomorrow will go towards paying the medical bills of the needy members of the national artistes association, Karyawan.
“We have several members who are ill and cannot work. So the money would be used to help pay for their medical bills and other expenses as well,” said Karyawan chairman Francis Danker at a press conference to announce the grand finals of the Carlsberg Hottracks Centrestage Talent Search. Also present was Carlsberg Marketing representative Beverly Goldman.
