SEREMBAN: All state education departments will soon be given the authority to approve applications for group tours by schools under their purview.
Deputy Education Minister Datuk Hon Choon Kim said the decision was made after discovering that many applications for school tours had been rejected by the department according to the provision set under the School Tour Regulation 1957.
