PENANG: A technician had a shock after being slapped with a RM96,000 credit card bill for fraudulent purchases made in Thailand about two years back.
Koid Leong Poh, 28, whose card has a credit limit of only RM5,000, is baffled at how the issuing bank could allow such an amount to be transacted between Oct 4 and Nov 12 in 2001.
