KUALA LUMPUR: Police here want schools to conduct checks weekly, instead of monthly, in their premises to curb rising crime among students.
City police chief Deputy Comm Datuk Dell Akbar Hyder Khan said crimes involving students increased for the first eight months of this year, involving 141 violent and 668 property crimes cases.
