KUALA LUMPUR: There is nothing wrong with organ transplants involving unrelated living donors, said renowned Iranian kidney transplant surgeon Prof Dr Iraj Fazel.
Dr Iraj, who is here for the Eighth Congress of the Asian Society of Transplantation, said that in a world where more people required organ transplants, the medical world was left with little choice.
