KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Trades Union Congress (MTUC) has filed a complaint against the Government to the International Labour Organisation (ILO) for refusing the formation of unions in certain sectors.
In a five-page complaint, backed by a 100-page case study report, addressed to the ILO Director-General in Geneva, the MTUC alleged that Malaysia continued to impose restrictions on organising unions, thus infringing workers' rights.
