PENANG: Taxpayers will have to keep the receipts of all claims when they seek tax deductions under the Self-Assessment System (SAS) which would be implemented next year.
State Inland Revenue Board (IRB) director Wong Poh Lam said taxpayers would have to keep the receipts for a minimum seven years “as we may conduct random auditing later on.”
