THE Federation of Textiles, General Goods Importers and Garments Manufacturers Associations has expressed disappointment over the 2004 Budget, saying it has not benefited the federation's members.
Its president Bong Hon Liong said the federation would continue to ask the Government for exemption or reduction of import tax on textiles to help develop the local garment manufacturing industry, Sin Chew Daily reported.
