KUALA LUMPUR: The DAP has joined the MCA in criticising PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang for supporting the suicide bombers of West Asia and Chechnya, saying the Islamist party was sending a wrong message to the world which had just commemorated the second anniversary of the Sept 11 attacks in New York.

DAP chairman Lim Kit Siang said Hadi’s support for the suicide bombers highlighted the incompatibility of the politics advocated by PAS and its concept of an Islamic state with democracy and pluralism.
