Use scheme, farmers told

BUTTERWORTH: Farmers have been urged to make full use of the RM1bil Village Micro-Credit Scheme, which was announced on Friday in Budget 2004.  

Deputy Agriculture Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Shariff Omar said farmers should use the scheme to buy machinery and technology to increase yields and help local food production.
