Nanyang commended for community work

KUALA LUMPUR: Nanyang Siang Pau newspaper must continue to excel and serve the Chinese community, said Deputy Culture, Arts and Tourism Minister Datuk Fu Ah Kiow. 

In congratulating the 80-year-old-newspaper for its achievements during its anniversary celebration at Sungei Wang Plaza yesterday, Fu said the daily’s community projects such as charity shows to raise funds for Chinese schools, had benefited many who had in turn contributed to the society and the country.
