PETALING JAYA: The Health Ministry should make it compulsory for food manufacturers to indicate the presence of trans fatty acids in foods to caution the public of this new danger, said Malaysian Dietary Supplements Association (Madsa) pro tem president Jagdev Singh.
Denmark had just introduced a new ruling on this and other countries in the European Union would follow suit soon, he said.
