KUCHING: A study carried out by the Institute of Islamic Understanding Malaysia (Ikim) has revealed a low level of knowledge on biotechnology among local Muslims.
Out of 1,400 Muslims in Shah Alam interviewed under the study, barely 15.5% knew about biotechnology, said its research officer Azrina Sobian.
