KUALA LUMPUR: Thirty out of every 100,000 Malaysians die in road accidents, according to a study conducted by the Health Ministry.
KL Hospital Department of Emergency Medical and Trauma Services head Dr Abu Hassan Asaari Abdullah said the death rate per 100,000 population was about seven times higher than those in developed countries.
