PENANG: Bad luck will befall those in possession of the Tua Pek Kong (God of Prosperity) statue stolen from the Hock Teik Cheng Sin Temple in Armenian Street on Monday, said its temple restoration committee chairman Tan Lye Hock.
“The statue, which is more than 100 years old, has to be returned to the temple. Keeping it will not bring any benefit to the owner. Instead bad luck will befall him,” he said.
