Seminar to raise funds for Utar

PETALING JAYA: A seminar to help students sitting for the SPM examination will be held at the KDU College here on Oct 25 and 26. 

The seminar, to be conducted by lecturer Sunny Yee and others, will be held from 9am to 6.30pm and covers additional mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology and history. 

The seminar, in aid of Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (Utar), is open to all students at RM160 per person, which will include refreshments and seminar materials. 

Yee, a Universiti Malaya graduate, is an author and columnist with The Star

He has written books on physics and other subjects.  

He has been appointed by the Selangor government to conduct seminars on SPM in the state and workshops under the patronage of Deputy Education Minister Datuk Hon Choon Kim. 

Yee said he wanted to support Utar by conducting the seminar, with proceeds going to the university.
