KUALA LUMPUR: Men still outnumber women as blood donors in the country because members of the fairer sex are often rejected, said National Blood Bank deputy director Dr Farahizah Abd Karim.
She said among the reasons that women were rejected as donors were because they were underweight and did not have enough haemoglobin.
