BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: Malaysia has called on governments in the region to make efforts to discredit terrorist groups so that they will be unable to gain financial and moral support from sympathisers.
Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi said the most effective way of defeating terrorists was to ensure they were discredited.
